Red wax mold of original seal of the Confederate States Treasury Deptartment, taken by Capt. A. E. Leavenworth, Co. K. 9th Vermont Regiment, at Richmond, April 3, 1865. Flat, round shape with palm tree in relief at center. Surrounded by words: "Confederate States of America Tres. Dept." Incised into back (almost illegible) is "Trea Holm(?) Seal".

Terra cotta colored clay mold of original seal of the Confederate States Treasury Deptartment, taken by Capt. A. E. Leavenworth, Co. K. 9th Vermont Regiment, at Richmond, April 3, 1865. Cylindrical shape with palm tree in relief at center. Surrounded by words: "Confederate States of America Tres. Dept." On reverse is written "Made confederate seal, original, Leavenworth."

Original Seal of the Confederate States Treasury Dept., taken by Capt. A. E. Leavenworth, Co. K. 9th Vermont Regiment, at Richmond, April 3, 1865. Cast iron with upper portion of brass seal remaining.  painted black with decorative gold detail (little remains). Two holes in base for affixing seal press to table.
